Gouache
– Water-borne paint with addition of chalk which makes it opaque. Possibility of applying mulitple layers enables to correct painting. When dried up, colors brighten and surface becomes matt. For painting posters, delicate ornaments, book illustrations, drafts for oil paintings. Best effect on smooth paper, white or colored cardboard thick enough to prevent from soaking through. Durable metal tubes prevent paints from drying.
